Activation Instructions

Q: What is Linkit?

Linkit is a smarter version of a calling card that enables you to share your: Phone number, Email, Social Media, FIles, Links and more wirelessly and instantly with one tap - instead of manually exchanging contact info - so you can stand out and save time in your interactions.

Q: How do I activate my Linkit?

Luckily, it only takes seconds to set up and start sharing! First, Tap or Scan your Linkit once you receive it. Next, click the "Activate Linkit" button and then Click Create a New Account!

Q: Phone won't detect Linkit, what to do?

To share to an IPhone XR or newer, Tap Linkit to the top back of the IPhone. To share to an android, Tap Linkit to the back center of the android. Make sure android device has NFC turned on in settings. For IPhone X or older, and older androids, use your unique Linkit QR code.

Q: How do I share offline?

Simply click the QR Code logo at the top right corner of your Linkit Profile and ask the other person to scan it with their phone. This will save your contact info directly on their phone with or without internet connectivity!

Q: Do other people need a Linkit or an app to receive my info?

Nope, only you need a Linkit to start sharing information instantly with any phone, IOS or Android!

Q: Does Linkit require a subscription to use?

Nope! Linkit is a one time purchase and lasts a lifetime. You can share to as many people and have as many edits as you want to your profile.

Q: How do I edit my details?

Log in your account to edit your links. To edit your photo, bio, phone number and email, click the three lines on the upper right corner then click Account Details to edit your profile information.

Q: I forgot my Log in details and I am not able to receive the password reset email.

If you changed your displayed email on your Linkit profile, that becomes your new log in email. Simply use the new email in order to log in. Otherwise, you may click "forgot password."

Privacy and Security 🔒

Q: How do I know my data is secure?

You define what information you want to share to people and we do not access any of your personal information. Linkit is built with a programming tool compliant to privacy certifications such as SOC 2, CSA, ISO 27001, and more. We use AWS RDS's AES 256 encryption to encrypt your data at rest.

Q: Can other people access my personal data such as my Passwords or Bank Accounts with Linkit?

Absolutely not, Linkit's tap to share technology works just like a QR Code. It only redirects to a user's Linkit Profile on the web, making it completely safe and secure for both sender and receiver.
